About

I like to bake for my family when the time permits - I have two girls, Izzy aged 14 and Erika aged 9. I work in the promotions department of a Puzzle Magazine publisher, in Refill Revolution (the local refill shop) some weekends and evenings, plus the local Eco Village and also I have my own side line business making brap beeswax food wraps, the reusable alternative to single use plastic. I'm half Hungarian, so have been brought up with a variety of foods and flavours including sourdough and fermented foods. I studied catering and Hospitality management at University in London, I worked in various kitchens before making the move to office work. I love cooking and teaching my children how to cook. I also like to make things, and craft, it keeps my mind calm, I suffer from chronic PTSD following a trauma 14 years ago, and still find a lot of things in life a struggle. Baking is like a form of mindfulness that helps distract me from unhelpful thoughts.

How I use BALM Protocol

I would like to eat more healthily and promote healthy eating to others and also teach them how to make bread and wholesome food.
