Welcome the systems change programme.

From Soil to Slice

The systems change programme is woven into the fabric of the way we teach. It isn't possible to teach people to bake nourishing bread and not make the connections. It is theory and practice of how Baking as Lifestyle Medicine is about the relationships and how we build together as a community.  BALM is supporting others and this education system isn't the preserve of the artisan baker. BALM a framework for all and includes healthcare professionals, all levels of baker from home baker to industrial producers, millers, and farmers - essentially, every stakeholder in the bread-making process. The programme does more than just fund itself; it actively drives the change it seeks, becoming a powerful catalyst in a movement for better bread, better health, and social equity.  In the features below you can learn more about the programme and the people involved.
