Personalising bread: how to book your assessment and nutrigenetics testing

The 3 steps to personalising your bread.

Everything on this page is included in our workshops and retreats — where three days with Dr Kimbell starts from £1,700.

In 2013 The Telegraph called our approach to teaching bread five star. In the decade that followed, Dr Kimbell qualified as a nutrigenetics practitioner and in Baking as Lifestyle Medicine and Preventative Healthcare — she took that mastery somewhere no one had gone before.

Bread is the most ordinary food in the world — eaten every single day, at every meal, for the rest of your life. Which is precisely what makes personalised Proven bread so extraordinary: no other food reaches you that consistently, or with that much potential to change how you feel.

Step 1 — Your Bread & Health Assessment

You begin by completing a detailed bread and health questionnaire covering your symptoms, digestion, lifestyle, family history, and relationship with food. Dr Kimbell then has a 45-minute consultation with you to discuss your answers in depth, and you receive a written clinical report with personalised recommendations — including which nutrigenetic reports are right for you. This is the essential foundation. Without it, Steps 2 and 3 are not possible.

Step 2 — Establishing Your Bread Phenotype

You complete your recommended nutrigenetic tests, then Dr Kimbell holds a second consultation to go through your results and weaves your genetic profile together with your Step 1 assessment to produce your Bread Phenotype Report — a precise analysis of how your genes are expressing themselves in the context of your real life.

Step 3 — Your Personalised Bread Recipe

With your bread phenotype established, Dr Kimbell creates your personalised Proven bread recipe — including a bespoke botanical blend flour and companion recipes built around symbiotic and sequential eating — designed around your genetics, your nutritional needs, and the way you actually live and cook. Your recipe report is delivered by email with three months access to lessons and recipes online.
