About

I live in Cumbria with my partner, he owns a coffee roastery and we spend our time visiting bakeries/cafes!
I grew up in Spain and have always eaten a varied diet, bread always being the main part. I remember going to Continente (now Carrefour) and we would sit in the trolley and go round the isles while eating a Barra bread!
I would love to learn how to bake properly, I cook and bake at home but haven't nailed the baking side yet. Would love to learn about the Sourdough and positive affects it has. One day I would love to open up my own bakery, I would keep it simple and have bread roll sandwiches, a couple of baked goods and coffee! I am a keen cyclist and will be bringing my bike down to the school to commute in and out of the place I am staying.

Passionate about Baking as Lifestyle Medicine

I've suffered with IBS since I can remember and I know how important the gut and bacteria is, I want to learn how to control my IBS and still eat the foods I want.

My Community

Food is fuel, we all need it to survive. I know most people suffer with intolerences/gut issues and I want to be able to share my knowlege I learn on this course with others.

How I use BALM Protocol

I will be baking at home regularly, I am also starting a new job and would love to be able to share my bakes goods with the team. I also want to open up my own barkery and this is a huge stepping stone in learning the ways of Sourdough baking!
