I am really sorry to those who could not log in on a Thursday night, and I was also unable to access the website, which stops me from teaching.
- I do not like emails much. I feel it is better to share information where is can be accessed when you want to find it. I set up a short cut link as a helpful quick way to find the link for Thursdays.
- I had not banked on everyone not putting the information into their calendars, and so when I checked with the IT company they told me that almost every student opened the shortcut link to the zoom at 6pm and/or 7pm, and left it open.
- The poor server crumbled and this (as I suspected) was why I was unable to use the site to teach from and why some students were unable to log in as the server is NOT designed to concentrate this much effort onto just one page. It used up all the capacity.
Please add your zoom links in to your dairy and do not go to the zoom via the links on the webpages.
