Please Note that this Week is only for Current Students and Alumni
This week in Tuscany is a unique opportunity for me to give back to my alumni and current students. It’s an exclusive and special event designed to foster personal connections and camaraderie, allowing us to spend quality time together beyond the virtual classroom where we’ve shared so much already.
The Tuscan week will be filled with enriching experiences. There will be a wine tasting featuring 12 biodynamic wines produced by the castle vineyard, a cheese-making evening, and a pasta-making evening. All of these activities are available for students’ partners and family members as well. If they wish to participate, they will need to book with the castle directly, but these special experiences are covered in the student’s participation fee.
The graduation ceremony itself will take place in a breathtaking Tuscan Castle, accessible from major cities in Italy. Students must be enrolled in this year’s diploma, arrange transportation, and book accommodation directly with the castle. The Sourdough School does not charge for the week, allowing you to celebrate this achievement in an unparalleled setting.
Before you book.
Please read the FAQs and check The year you are graduating!! Your Courses are two years, and I will not be graduating you after a year of your course!
There are limited rooms, and you will need to secure your accommodation.
Please note that this event is only possible because I have booked the accommodation for us at The Castle. This week is ONLY possible if you stay at the castle, so
- Please check that you can afford the trip BEFORE you commit; the link to see accommodation. LINK PLEASE DO NOT BOOK ACCOMMODATION UNTIL YOU HAVE BOOKED YOUR PLACE HERE
- Only once you are booked, please book your accommodation ASAP.
Additional Information for Students:
- Graduation Loaves: If you would like to bake your graduation loaves during the week, you are more than welcome to do so. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience and enjoy the process in a beautiful setting.
- Photography: Our photographer, Joe, will be available to take photos of your loaves. Please note that I will not be doing any online work during this event. Students will need to obtain their photos directly from Joe and add them to their own posts when they submit their recipes.
Terms of Participation:
- For Students and Alumni who have accepted a 50% or more bursary, a contribution of £500 is required. Although I can subsidise online learning, I cannot subsidise the graduation week as there are expenses associated with this event, and this includes extra time to accommodate our photographer’s fees and the additional time and costs needed to support more students at the event.
- For 100% Awards, unfortunately, at this point in time, we are unable to offer graduation for scholarship students.
- For Current Students the fee is £200 as a contribution to food and wine tasting and cheese-making
