The dynamics of our team and how we operate:

Meet Our Team: A Family-Run Business with a Personal Touch

We are really much smaller than most people think. When you get to know us you will discover that we are a family. As a small, family-run business, we take pride in the personal connections we foster with our students and Club members, ensuring that each individual receives the attention and care they deserve.

Alastair Kimbell, is Vanessa’s husband and our Financial Director, oversees all aspects of our financial management. With his guidance, we maintain a stable and sustainable approach to the financial side of our educational journey.

Libiana, Vanessa’s dedicated Personal Assistant, and she is your first point of contact for pre-course inquiries, prospectus requests, and all pre-course administration and communications, including acceptance letters. She also handles essential tasks such as financial matters, HR, legal documentation, privacy policy, and GDPR compliance.

William takes care of the day to day technical challenges on the website and making sure the computers work, and Jo from Callia web is our website designer. Joe Westley helps with photography and videography and we have some help with housekeeping and gardening when things get busy.

During Your Course:

For course-related concerns or interactions, please feel free to talk directly with me, Vanessa Kimbell, your Course Director. I am here to guide you, support you, and help you excel in your chosen field.

If you are already a Club member, make use of our live clinic sessions and sourdough loaf-analysis forms. Submit your questions or bread for analysis, and I will personally chat with you live during our Thursday evening live clinic session (you can find links to these on your syllabus welcome pages).

Our Working Hours:

Please be mindful that we operate within a traditional academic school year. Our doors are closed during holidays and half-terms, and we enjoy a summer break in August. We are committed to the well-being of our team, and this schedule allows us to recharge and come back refreshed to continue providing high-quality education and support.
