I am delighted that you have enrolled and are considering attending the course. However, please note that you are NOT yet registered. Your payment is currently being processed, and you will receive a receipt automatically from our system. Although your place is secure, you still need to complete the application form as part of the registration process. Please follow the instructions below to finalize your registration.
Your next steps:
Step 1 – Please fill in the online form immediately:
Our health and safety measures and legal safeguarding are integrated into your registration process. These precautions address food allergies, health and safety aspects related to attending the course and help us identify any medical issues that may affect your ability to benefit from the course. It is essential that we receive the form with accurate information in order to secure your enrollment. As tempting as it might be to delay completing the form, we cannot allocate a place for you until we have received it. Please complete and submit the form immediately. Failure to do so may jeopardize your spot on the course.
You will need to upload two different photos:
- A relaxed, casual photo – This can be your student photo or any picture that shows you in a comfortable, informal setting.
- A professional photo – This should represent your occupation or convey a sense of professionalism that aligns with your career.

Step 2 – Informal Chat to Confirm Suitability:
You will have a brief, informal conversation with Vanessa to ensure that your expectations align with the course and that you are a suitable candidate.
Why do you need a conversation with Vanessa? There are several reasons for this conversation. Firstly, we want to ensure that you are choosing the right modules and understand how our program works. As a social enterprise, we have certain obligations to ensure that you are suitable to attend our courses. We must also comply with legal obligations and restrictions regarding who we can teach. Our priority is to make sure you can complete the syllabus without any harm. For example, you would not be able to participate in the course if you have been diagnosed with a wheat allergy. Additionally, we want to ensure you understand the commitment required for our courses. While we provide support, it’s important to know that regular participation is necessary, and we do not issue refunds. Our awards are allocated based on revenue, so if you have committed to the course, we have likely already directed the funds to our systems change program. However, we do offer the option to pause your participation, allowing you to resume when you’re ready or catch up at your own pace. Our goal is to help you complete the course. We believe it’s crucial for you to have a conversation with Vanessa, as this provides an opportunity to ask any questions you may have and address any concerns directly. We also want to ensure that you get the most out of the course. The conversation with Vanessa allows us to understand better your goals, expectations, and background, which in turn helps us tailor your experience to your specific needs. By discussing your objectives and any concerns, we can guide you in making the most of the resources, support, and learning opportunities provided throughout the course.
If, for any reason, it is determined that the course is not appropriate for you, we will discuss this with you and arrange a refund within seven days of your conversation with Vanessa.
To avoid any inconvenience, we recommend not booking any travel or accommodation for attending the School in person until you have received confirmation that your application has been accepted. Additionally, please ensure that you have read and understood our Terms and Conditions, which can be found here: Terms & Conditions.
Note: If you have already had an interview with Vanessa and have been granted a scholarship or bursary, there is no need to speak with her again. Book yourself in for your conversation with Vanessa – click here.
Online enrollment for the certificate and Diploma
We kindly ask for your consideration and patience when contacting us.
Sometimes because there is often some time between enrolling, registering and induction students feel anxious and email us with questions about what to expect. As you can imagine trying to answer each person as we enrol the whole year can get overwhelming for a small team and slow down our enrollment process.
There is nothing to do until the 2nd week of September when we will contact you using the same email address you provided during payment on sourdough.co.uk. You will receive instructions on how to join your course modules, along with a specific link and code to register for the course you signed up for. This link will give you access to the syllabus.
You will be guided through a comprehensive welcome module, which includes a list of required equipment. You do not need to buy anything before then. Additionally, you will be invited to attend a pre-course live session via Zoom to familiarize yourself with the website, forum, and live clinics.
We will also send an invitation to join the pre-course information tutorial if you wish to attend, but we have been running this course for many years, and we always begin on the last Thursday of September every year. However, should you be concerned about anything, please attend the Zoom at 4 pm and speak directly to Vanessa. You can send me a question if you want to, and you can access the student support session here. Please use Sourdough to access
