Based in the walled gardens of Dr. Vanessa Kimbell's beautiful Victorian home in rural Northamptonshire, UK, we tutor individuals and train bakers and healthcare professionals in Baking as Lifestyle Medicine (BALM). You can buy some of the sourdough starters we use here at the school through our online shop. We recommend the White Sourdough Starter Kit, which contains all the information you need to keep your new starter active and healthy.
The sourdough starter is carefully nurtured here at The Sourdough School, and we make sure it is sent out in peak condition. Starters are sent out twice a month and advised that they should be refreshed as soon as they arrive.
