ARE YOU A SOURDOUGH HERO?
The idea for this was originally kicked off by Campbell and Adam who’s vision and support allowed me to make this possible and were completely selfless. I want to be able to return the kindness they offered me and give it back to those making a difference.
This also ties in beautifully with my Sourdough Sisters campaign – usually each year I hold a completely free class for charity workers which is non-profit and our Sourdough Sisters can then go on to teach the skills to those they work with. However, in light of the current situation, I won’t be able to open my doors for this course this year so instead, will be inspired by this to run ‘Sourdough Heroes’.
HERO MEMBERSHIPS
Every month I will gift 5 ‘Hero Memberships’ to help others and give back, just like Campbell and Adam. These five Gold 12-month Sourdough Club Memberships (worth £199 each) equates to approx. £1,000 of gifted memberships every single month.
Those who are chosen are completely at random providing they fit the criteria in the form. It’s not easy for me to be able to check if everyone genuinely fits the criteria, so I can only ask that you please only apply honestly – you could be preventing someone else from benefiting who really needs this.
Anyone who is unsuccessful will be informed and gifted a code to gift them a discount on membership if they wish to use it.
WHO IS A SOURDOUGH HERO?
I want to offer a Gold Sourdough Club membership to those who are also giving back. This might be charity workers who are teaching for free, full-time carers who need to provide nutritious bread and bakers providing bread for free to those who are unable to buy food. This is open to anyone that would benefit from being a club member and having access to the tutorials, recipes and articles by then being able to pass on either the knowledge or the bread to those that really need it.
