I love making Challah every Friday. It is a wonderful ritual and grounds me to the joy of flour and what it creates. It is just my husband and I so he is privy to eating all my bakes. Poor guy... he asks me to get it out of the house so he doesn't eat it all. Fortunately my friends and neighbors are more than happy to accept my loaves. Mostly I love giving it away as that gives me the most joy.
I love to toast my sourdough and put cultured butter on top. Delicious!!!
