Fresh crusty bread with either olive oil or butter. Toasted with goats cheese. French toast. Dark Rye bread with gouda.
I'm a total beginner baking bread. I want to be able to bake good quality tasty bread which is difficult to get hold of where I live in North Devon.
My Work
I'm based in Woolacombe, North Devon. Just near the Celtic sea. Beautiful counrtyside but remote.
I'm a trained Sound therapist and Systemic constellation facilitator and I combine both practises in 1-2 day workshops. It's a wonderful way to support and noursish people on their journey through life, healing trauma and finding joy.
Passionate about Baking as Lifestyle Medicine
I just love bread. Good tasty bread like I used to get in Germany. As I said before it is not easy to get hold of good quality bread where I live. There is a bakery in Bude, Cornwall -The Electric bakery - but that's an hours drive. I'm also very keen to learn more about fermentation processes. Just love experimenting and doing new things to improve my own nutrition.
My Community
As I love to entertain neighboours, friends, clients they will all benefit from my future baking skills. A small holding close by produceds local, organic food which is very important to me. They have already shown interest in my aspiration to start baking sourdough bread.
How I use BALM Protocol
I'll join the small holding close to my home and sell some of my bread.
At my workshops I already talk about nutrition and the connection of body, mind and spirit.
