About
I don't currently eat much bread. When I do enjoy some I like it with olive oil or hummus or smoked mackerel pate or toasted I love blackcurrant jam or Bovril.
My Work
I'm based in London. I've been a Holistic Therapist for 20+ years and recently completed my Graduate Diploma in Functional Nutrition at Institute for Optimum Nutrition and am completing my LifecodeGX NNP and am enrolled on the LifecodeGX MPP for metal health. As a multidisciplinary complementary therapist, holistic skincare expert, functional nutritionalist and nutrigenomic practitioner I am interested in creating personalised plans for every client and understand the importance of gut health interlinking everything.
Passionate about Baking as Lifestyle Medicine
I am very interested about how bread can be used as health and challenging the narrative or something being labelled "good" or "bad". I have avoided bread mostly for over 20 years as it does not really benefit me but I am really inspired to see how it can become a medicine for myself and others and I like the social aspect of baking concept with SS as we see in blue zones etc connecting with the joy part of eating and sharing and socialising.
My Community
Part of my community is Triyoga where I work and the community here is into health and looking after themselves so I believe they would be very interested in the SS concept and approach.
Part of my community is recovering addicts, those affected by other people's addictions and other mental health challenges such as eating disorders, neurodiversity, depression, anxiety etc. I am starting to partner with a network of therapists I know and thinking about how I can use the skills I learn to help them.
My client base is very interested in gut health so I will like to introduce this concept to them.
How I use BALM Protocol
I am not sure yet, I would like to see what evolves during the course with my understanding and where I feel I make most impact and reach the most people that will integrate the knowledge.
