My favourite way to eat bread is with butter. I bake for my family, sometimes for friends as a gift.
My Work
I'm from Hungary, currently working in Qatar as a civil engineer (I spent 8 years from the last 10 years there), but planning an at least 1 year carrier brake from August in Spain. I learned to bake sourdough bread from a friend in 2019 and never went to a bakery since then, I love eating the bread but also the process, the smell of the house while baking, the excitement of trying a new recipe and waiting for the result when it's baking day.
Passionate about Baking as Lifestyle Medicine
Recently I become interested in holistic health and especially in the impact of the body on the mind. For now, this only means that I read books in the subject in my free time and gut comes up very often and while we know what we eat matters in relation to our health, I would like to know the scientific explanation. I'm also interested to learn which bread is the best for me, as I eat a lot of bread.
My Community
As I learned baking from a friend, I also shown to some friends what I do, many of them are still baking. I think it matters that we do something with our hands and see the actual result, be able to choose all ingredients and know that with this, we do something for our health. All of this makes one happier too.
How I use BALM Protocol
I don't know. I hope I will be able to express why baking can be a medicine rather than just feel it. Also I hope my baking will improve and I can enjoy better bread.
