About
Hello, my favorite way to eat bread is with olive oil and roasted garlic. I also eat it with Eggs Benedict and every other possible way to use it throughout the day. I bake for my family, which consists of my husband, two sons who are in their thirties and their friends, my daughter inlaws, my grandson who is six years old and anyone else in my life that is important to me. I have been baking since I was probably seven years old. My Mom was a great baker and always expressed her love of her family through cooking and baking. She was my greatest mentor, but has since passed away several years ago. I live in a suburb of Dallas Texas, but I am originally from a small town in the Midwest, Illinois where a large portion of my family still lives. I was a corporate executive Assistant in one capacity or another for almost forty years that I retired from two years ago so that I could start pursuing the other passions in my life, such as baking and Gardening and cooking with herbs. My hope is to teach and share the knowledge I have and hope to gain to teach others about baking, gardening and food as a whole. I have many passions, but these specifically are my top three besides taking care of my family.
My Work
I am based in the Dallas Fort Worth Texas area. The last couple of years I have been very busy taking care of my family, although this is not a charity, until my family is okay I was not able to pursue my passions and I believe I am on the downhill slide of this for now. My oldest son is a Veteran of the Afghanistan war who suffers from depression and PTSD, my husband has had acute diverticulitis and had to have a portion of his large intestine removed a month ago and my only grandson has been diagnosed with highly functioning Autism. The last two years has been pretty rough, but it is my hope to learn from you and share my knowledge with others to help them too. I feel here in the USA we are far behind the curve of educating people on healthy food and healthy eating and practices. I would like to give back in some way and help others, including my family and extended family. (Sorry rambling lol)
Passionate about Baking as Lifestyle Medicine
Baking is an absolute expression of love for me and how I express that love to others. I want to be able to do that in the most healthy way possible and teach others these healthy practices. We all have so kuch to learn.
My Community
Here in the USA we are plaqued now with diseases and health issues as a result of our incredibly poor habits, trusting the FDA with our health, following blindly the massive money making machines of fast food everywhere. It truly is a life or death situation now and so many people have no clue as this information is squashed for the money making purposes of a few to fatten their bank accounts. The USA pays the most for Healthcare in every form, but we are the least healthy. I am passionate about teaching others the truth of this and showing them how they can change if for themselves and their families.
How I use BALM Protocol
I want to teach. I also have a business website in which I hope to sell healthy products such as EVOO Modena Vinegar's, Herbs and spices. My website is a work in progress.
